Overview
SYSCON – The DoubleDeck Company, sees itself as one of the leading suppliers of equipment for national and international trade fairs and events. Our focal points are high-quality steel double-deck / modular or conventional construction systems and sophisticated, custom-built steel / metal and glass constructions. We employ around 20 people at our premises in Hockenheim (near to Mannheim / Heidelberg). Assembly / dismantling work is carried out in cooperation with tried-and-trusted subcontractors with many years of experience in this specialist field. |

History
The foundation stone was laid by Josef Burgmeier, who began metalworking and laboratory construction work in 1948.
It was Wilfried Burgmeier who established the current company's position as supplier to the trade fair and events sector between 1960 and 2005. This particularly included the development of what is now our sister company, BUMAT Bewegungssysteme GmbH – www.bumat.com - which leads the market for turntables, revolving platforms, revolving rings and elevating platforms.
The next generation took over in the person of Holger Burgmeier in 2002 and our motto - bound by tradition - applies more today than ever before. |

Objectives
Based on our dynamic development in recent years, which have been marked by the reliability, quality and flexibility of the projects we have realised, we are now aiming to become one of the leading suppliers of high-quality steel double-deck / modular construction systems in the European trade fair and events sector by 2015. |
